About this programme
Knowledge and understanding of accounting and financial management is fundamental to the day-to-day business activities of any organisation. This programme has been designed with a broad set of fundamental proficiencies in accounting allowing graduates to apply for a wide range of accounting positions in an assortment of organisations.

The foundation of this National N Diploma in Financial Management (NDipFM) lies in you being equipped with knowledge and skills, which provide a competitive edge in the corporate world. It also provides the opportunity to explore current trends in accounting and corporate finance while enhancing business skills.
Certification on successful completion of studies
Students write national examinations set and administered by the Department of Higher Education (DHET). Successful students graduate with the following:
National N Diploma: Financial Management (SAQA ID# 67040; NQF Level 6)
The diploma is awarded to students who have completed their N4, N5 & N6 national certificates and 2000 relevant practical workplace hours over a period of no less than 18 months
Admission requirements
National Senior Certificate (Grade 12). If you are currently in Grade 12 you apply with your final grade 11 results and the most up-to-date grade 12 results. Should you be accepted on the above you are still required to pass Grade 12. An appropriate National Certificate (N3) or equivalent may also be considered for students who do not have a Grade 12 National Senior Certificate.
