Overview
The Office Administrator programme equips you with the practical skills and confidence needed to operate effectively in today’s fast-paced business environment. You will gain a solid understanding of office systems, administrative processes, and workplace communication, while also developing the ability to support key functions such as human resources, marketing, and basic financial administration. The course also introduces you to essential digital tools that enhance productivity and ensure you remain competitive in the modern workplace.
What sets this programme apart is its strong focus on practical application and workplace readiness. Through simulated office environments and real-world scenarios, you will develop hands-on experience and build a portfolio that showcases your capabilities. On completion, you will be well-prepared to pursue roles such as Office Administrator, Administrative Assistant, Management Assistant, Client Services Administrator, or Office Coordinator. This programme also provides a solid foundation for further studies in areas such as business management, human resources, and marketing.
Certification on successful completion of studies
You are prepared to write the External Integrated Summative Assessment (EISA), set and administered by the QCTO. On successful completion of the EISA you will receive the Occupational Certificate: Office Administrator (SAQA ID: 102161, NQF 5) issued by the QCTO.
Unigrad College further recognises student achievement by awarding a Certificate of Completion for successfully completing the knowledge and practical components of the programme.
Admission Requirements
Grade 12 or a National Certificate Vocational (NCV) at NQF Level 4 or any other NQF 4 qualification with communication.
Programme duration
1 year of theoretical and practical weekday classes, followed by a 6-month workplace component.

An External Integrated Summative Assessment (EISA) is required for this programme. This external assessment is conducted once all knowledge, practical and workplace components of the qualification have been successfully completed. Please note that the EISA is administered by the relevant authority and is not included in the course fees.
