About this programme

A project is a temporary endeavour designed to produce a unique result to meet a specific objective.  In practice, project management is about the management of distinct production approaches which require the development of distinct technical skills and management strategies.

Project managers are required to lead the work of a team to achieve project goals within the given constraints of  scope, time, and budget.

This course will equip you with the knowledge and skills needed to manage projects in the modern business arena, be they technical, business, public or community-based projects.  The programme focuses on providing you with a sound foundation in project management techniques, proficiency in Microsoft Project and a thorough background in entrepreneurship and business management.

Certification on successful completion of studies

Students complete various assessments and practical simulations to be awarded the following Unigrad College short learning programme (SLP) certificates:

• SLP Advanced Project Management*
• SLP Entrepreneurship and Business Management*
• SLP Computer Skills – Intermediate Level

*These certificates are endorsed by the Chartered Institute of Business Management

Admission requirements

Grade 11 or appropriate N3 certificate. Student must be 17 years of age or older.

Duration

One semester (6 months) full-time.  You attend classes during the week.
