Overview

If you’re passionate about music, sound or events, this programme is your gateway into the industry! At Unigrad College, you’ll learn by doing in our on-campus recording studio, gaining the same skills audio professionals use every day.

Guided by industry-experienced lecturers, you’ll train in recording, mixing, live sound and music production while also exploring the events and entertainment industry.

Most assessments are practical projects that mirror real studio and live work.

By the time you graduate, you’ll have the skills, confidence and hands-on experience to launch your career in sound engineering and music production.

Full-time course duration

2 years of full-time weekday classes.

 Admission requirements

You must be at least 17 years of age and must have obtained a South African grade 12 or a GCSE qualification.

Applicants who do not meet the standard admission requirements may apply for special consideration. The Unigrad advisory board will review these applications on a case-by-case basis.

Fees and study material (full-time)

Fees include study material, recording software & studio headphones.

Course fees can be paid either in full or in convenient monthly instalments. Speak to a Unigrad Career Consultant for detailed information on fees and payment options.
