Overview

At the same time, growing entrepreneurial opportunities continue to open doors for individuals to start and manage their own ventures.

This part-time programme provides a solid foundation in core business principles, equipping students with practical knowledge and workplace-ready skills. Whether aiming to advance within an organisation or to successfully manage a small business, students will gain the confidence and competence to operate effectively in a modern business setting.

 Admission requirements

You must have English comprehension at NQF Level 2 (Grade 10) or equivalent and be 17 years of age or older.

 Who should study the programme?

Individuals who want a better understanding of the business environment, newly appointed managers without a theoretical background, potential managers looking to upgrade their skills and aspiring entrepreneurs who seek foundational business training.

Course Duration

Saturday classes presented over a 5-month period, delivered on campus by qualified and experienced industry professionals.

• Entrepreneurship and Business Management
• Computer Skills Windows and MS Office
• Understanding Business Finances (prior accounting knowledge is not required)

 Certification

Successful students are awarded the Unigrad Short Learning Programme Certificate in Business Management and Administration endorsed by the Chartered Institute of Business Management (CIBM).
